Happy Birthday Grandpa Johnny!

It was Erik's Grandpa's Birthday yesterday.
He had the whole family over to celebrate.
He just turned 88!!

Mindy and I have been doing a lot of walking lately- enjoying the nice weather. Although its nice for us, its not very photogenic.... I mean, who really wants to see me in a Bethel Hoodie and wind pants? I have decided to post this video after lots of prayer and consulting my heart. This shocking video shows the true nature of Italians- the kinds that they dont tell you about in the tour guide books....

April Fools

So, I really wanted to create some crazy story about us deciding to move to Croatia...something about how we were announcing that decided to take some of our hostel owners up on their offer to have us go back to Croatia and run the hostel for a year. I thought that would be a fun April Fools Joke, but Erik didn't think it would be nice. He's probably right!

However, it looks like Mother Nature had a great time with her 'April Fools Joke' on all of us Minnesotans!! We just bought some nice fresh flowers to make our apartment look a little more spring-y. I've been wanting Spring to come for a while now!!

But this is what we woke up to this morning!!!So much for Spring!

The whole park is filled with waterfalls and wooden walking paths that go over the water.
Very beautiful!

Italy was Wonderful!

We had a great time! We saw so much it feels like we've been gone for over a month! Our whirlwind tour was well worth it. We'll need to tell you about it and share more pictures in person, but here are a couple pics from the first half of our trip:
